FYRST Complete is the more comprehensive business account from fintech FYRST, aimed according to the provider at founders, freelancers and self-employed people across nearly every legal form — from sole proprietorships through GbR partnerships to GmbHs and UGs.
The account costs 120 euros a year, which the provider itself states as 10 euros a month — both figures match. No condition for a fee waiver is listed. The first 75 paperless bookings per month are free, after which 0.08 euros per booking applies — a generous free allowance for most small and medium-sized businesses. Offline bookings (e.g. paper-based orders) cost a flat 4 euros per transaction, regardless of volume.
There is a discrepancy on the overdraft rate between our product data and the provider's current page: the database lists 6.99 percent for the arranged overdraft facility, while FYRST's own site currently advertises "overdraft facility from 9.95 percent." Since the provider's page is the more current source, this review assumes at least 9.95 percent — the actual rate may be higher depending on creditworthiness, since it is a "from" (minimum) rate. Per the product data, FYRST charges 14.4 percent annual interest for a tolerated, unarranged overdraft.
FYRST Complete can be used online, via app and — unlike most fintech business accounts in this selection — offline as well. Included is a free Debit Mastercard with, according to the provider, up to 30 euros of cashback; a Girocard can optionally be added for free. Cash deposits and withdrawals are possible, per the provider, at up to 7,000 locations nationwide, real-time transfers carry no extra cost, and both Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported.
Deposit protection runs through the deposit protection fund of the Association of German Banks: deposits are protected up to 15 percent of the issuing bank's relevant liable capital — a voluntary protection scheme typical of private banks in Germany, sitting on top of the statutory minimum guarantee.
FYRST addresses practically every business form: freelancers, sole traders, tradespeople, GbR partnerships, GmbHs and UGs. Businesses with many paperless bookings benefit from the generous 75-booking-a-month free allowance; those relying on cash benefit from the nationwide deposit network.
With a 120-euro annual fee, a generous 75-booking-a-month free allowance and a broad cash-deposit network, FYRST Complete offers a solid overall package for founders and self-employed people across nearly every legal form. For the overdraft facility, prospective customers should budget for at least 9.95 percent, as that is the provider's more current figure — the actual rate depends on individual creditworthiness.
