Tomorrow Now is the entry-level tier of Tomorrow's mobile banking account, managed exclusively through an app — there's no online banking website and no telephone customer service. According to the data, the target group includes employees, students, apprentices, retirees, and the unemployed.
Account management starts free from €0 per month — but only for customers under 21, or with at least €500 in monthly incoming payments. Everyone else pays standard fees according to the provider, though the exact amount isn't shown on the campaign page. Online transactions are generally free according to the product data.
The Now tier includes a free Visa debit card and a free virtual card. One free cash withdrawal per month is included; individual ATM operators may still charge their own fees regardless. A 2% foreign-currency fee applies to payments outside the eurozone — worldwide fee-free payments are only included in tiers above Now, according to the provider.
Both the arranged and tolerated overdraft carry an interest rate of 9.75% (the arranged rate is listed on a monthly basis in the product data, the tolerated rate on an annual basis). Deposits are protected up to €100,000 (100%) under the statutory German deposit protection scheme. An automated account-switching service is available.
At the time of this review, Tomorrow is running a time-limited promotion: new customers get 3.1% interest per year for the first 90 days on a savings ("Tagesgeld") sub-account, up to a balance of €50,000. The promotion applies to accounts opened in September 2026. This isn't a direct bonus on the current account itself, but on one of the two sub-accounts available in the app — still, it's a real, time-limited benefit for anyone planning to park savings there anyway.
The app offers two sub-accounts for separately managing savings or budgets, real-time push notifications for every account movement, an expense overview, and a German IBAN.
The account is most advantageous for people under 21 or with at least €500 in monthly incoming payments who want to bank primarily via mobile, without branch or phone contact. Anyone paying regularly outside the eurozone should factor in the 2% foreign-currency fee.
Tomorrow Now is a pure app-based account with conditional fee-freeness and a currently running, attractive interest promotion on the savings sub-account. Anyone comfortable with a purely mobile banking relationship and moderate limits on cash and foreign payments gets a lean, transparent account here.
